These Meinl Byzance Vintage Series Benny Greb Signature 14" Sand Hats are in excellent condition. With the unlathed raw finish used on the top cymbal it's quite difficult to find anything that suggests they're not brand new. The bottom cymbal however does have some stubborn fingerprint marks, annoyingly the sandblasted surface used on the vintage series cymbals is well known for this. The top cymbal is very thin and the bottom quite heavy which gives them a really crisp and articulate sound. A fantastic set of hi hats that work well with so many different styles of music.
